The mission of Chaplains International, Inc. is to help those who are seeking to establish themselves in the ministry by providing the tools and resources that are necessary to be a chaplain.

Chaplains International, Inc. is a non-profit national and international emergency support organization that provides Chaplain support services during a time of crisis.

Chaplains International, Inc. provides support to members of clergy who have been chosen by God to serve as chaplains. Chaplains International, Inc. offers a professional network of qualified clergy from many different educational and denominational backgrounds.

We serve the needs of Law Enforcement, Prison, Hospital, and Hospice organizations. Chaplains assist families of officers/staff personnel/victims in times of serious injury, illness or death. They respond immediately to emergency situations involving departmental personnel and victims.

Those who qualify and meet the standards of Chaplains International, Inc. will be issued a license as a Professional Chaplain. With their license, those who qualify will be issued a Chaplains International ID card and will be permitted to carry our exclusive Michael the Archangel Badge. They will also be allowed to refer to Chaplains International, Inc. as their organization of covering.

Experience

Our Chaplains bring experience, training and skills during times of tragedy. Our Chaplains serve many personal and spiritual needs of individuals when they need the support of another person. All conversations with the Chaplain are protected and confidential. Many of our Chaplains are trained in crisis intervention, in areas such as domestic violence, suicide, death notifications, and stress management. The Chaplains also participate in a wide variety of training programs, as they are made available. Often Chaplains are asked to teach classes on dealing with stress, family life, relationships, ethics, and other issues.

What We Are

1. A fellowship of chaplains/ministers of the gospel.

Applicants will receive an application packet that must be completed, signed and dated. Applicants must submit a resume detailing their experience in the ministry and their educational experience. All applications will be submitted to the Executive Committee for review and final approval.

2. All licensees represent Chaplains International as organizational chaplains as well as a licensed and ordained member of clergy.

Approved chaplains will receive a Certificate of Introduction from the Executive Committee announcing their acceptance to our organization. Chaplains will also receive a Certificate of License and Ordination and a chaplain's identification card that is renewable every two years. All chaplains upon license and ordination are considered a member of clergy (ministers of the gospel) as well as an organizational chaplain.

3. All licensees may use the Chaplains International logo for their ministry letterhead and website.

4. All licensees have complete autonomy.
